Simple Simon met a pieman
Going to the fair
Said Simple Simon to the pieman,
“Let me taste your wares.”
Said the pieman to Simple Simon,
“Give me, sir, your penny.”
“Oh, good sir,” said Simple Simon
“Alas, I have not any.”
